The Homebuyer Ed webinar is an interactive webinar presented via ZOOM, and is conducted in partnership with professionals from the banking and real estate industries. We provide information and activities to help you understand the home buying process; including working with real estate agents, inspections, appraisals, different loan options, down payment assistance, credit and mortgage approval, and closing documents. We recommend you have a pencil, paper, and calculator to fully complete the activities we conduct in this webinar. Â
Our webinar is developed for first-time homebuyers, but all are welcome. Must be a current Oakland or Livingston County resident to attend and online registration is required. A certificate of completion will be provided for those who attend the class in its entirety; this class and certificate are required for MSHDA down payment assistance. Registration is available online at https://www.olhsa.org/events and closes two days prior to the event. Please see the attached flyer for complete information.
