August offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy MSU Extension’s wide range of educational programs with family and friends—before the busy school year begins. We’re here to help you make the most of the summer season with engaging, family-friendly experiences for all ages.

Join us for hands-on experiences both on land and water, including:

• Summer Discovery Cruises (Harrison Township) – Enjoy narrated cruises while exploring Lake St. Clair

• 4-H Technology Camp (Clinton Township) – STEM learning for all youth

• Nature Center Field Trip (Sterling Heights) – A day of outdoor discovery for kids

• Gardening for Pollinators Workshop (Warren) – Learn how to support pollinators in your garden

There’s truly something for everyone—nature lovers, garden enthusiasts, curious kids, and families looking for summer fun! Plus, our educators will be out in the community this August. Stop by our booth, meet the team, and pick up some great resources at these local events:

• August 7 – Rockin’ Summer Night, Kennedy Memorial Park (Eastpointe)

• August 8 – MyCare Health Center Annual Health Fair (Downtown Mount Clemens)

• August 11–17 – Armada Fair (Armada)

• August 16 – Macomb County Health & Wellness Fair, MISD Building (Clinton Township)
