Emergency Shelter / Housing Assistance Needed for Disabled Elder & Son

Hello everyone,

I am reaching out to this group to urgently request immediate assistance for a family in crisis.

We are looking for emergency shelter, low-income housing assistance, or rapid rehousing options for a 70-year-old disabled elder and their adult son.

• Current Situation: They are currently completely unsheltered, staying outside behind a building. Because of the vulnerable nature of a disabled senior sleeping outdoors, this is an absolute emergency.

• Financial Situation: They have a critical financial barrier, with a total combined income of only $1850.00 a month. They urgently need immediate emergency program assistance, placement, or highly subsidized housing options.

• What we are looking for: * Immediate emergency shelter placement (that can accommodate a disabled elder).

  • Leads on immediate low-income housing, rapid rehousing programs, or emergency vouchers.

  • Any resources or organizations that can help fast-track housing applications for highly vulnerable, extremely low-income seniors.
