 Dear Wonderful Classmates, עמו''ש
Hi! I hope that everyone is doing well.
For the past 2 years I have been working in an amazing special needs preschool in Yerushalayim called Sulam. Sulam is a network of schools consisting of daycare, kindergarten, elementary schools and yeshivos etc. with branches all across Israel. Recently they have been hit hard financially by the Corona pandemic and must look for new sources to stay afloat.  They are currently running a campaign, such as they have never done before, asking for help from friends, family and neighbors.
Sulam helps children ages from infants through teenagers from a  variety of backgrounds all across the spectrum including dati, secular, chassidish, Israeli, American, and European. The staff provides the children with a very warm and professional education environment providing speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, hydrotherapy, music/art therapy and more.
As a physical therapist, I personally work with Jewish children diagnosed with developmental delays, communication disorders and autism. I witness and experience the vital educational and therapeutic services that are given to these children on a daily basis. I have worked with children who came in at the beginning having only recently learned to walk and have taught them age appropriate gross motor skills such as running, jumping, and blay play to help them integrate with the peers. It is vital that Sulam continues to provide the special services that they do so that the students can continue to learn and thrive.  Although I am not generally comfortable with fundraising, I know how important this school network is and I am therefore reaching out to ask for help.
The link below can be used to click and donate to help Sulam continue their special work. Any amount is appreciated!
 Thank you so much,
Lee-El (Gakner) Mandel
