I hope all is well! As many of you know, I am a doctoral student at LIU-Post pursuing my PsyD in clinical psychology. A major component of the degree is the dissertation research project. One of my close friends and classmates, Rachel Luckman, is doing her dissertation on an important topic related to Holocaust survivors and meaning-making. She is seeking Jewish adult participants for her study whose parents were born between 1904 and 1945. Many of our parents, relatives, or friends' parents and relatives likely fit the inclusion criteria, and I'd really love to help her conduct this amazing study and get as many participants for her as possible!

Hello, 

My name is Rachel Luckman and I am a clinical psychology doctoral student at Long Island University-Post conducting a study examining the life meaning that Jewish people have made of their lives and their history. This study will include an Internet-based survey which takes approximately 35-45 minutes to complete.  I am seeking adults who were raised by at least one Jewish parent, and whose parent was born between the time period of 1904 and 1945. The study aims to recruit both participants whose parents were Holocaust survivors and participants whose parents were not Holocaust survivors. The survey can be completed from any location.  All responses will be kept confidential and this research project has been approved by the Long Island University-Post Institutional Review Board.
