The following information and attachments have been sent out from
Senator Birkholz office.

At the request of Senator Patty Birkholz, I am attaching two documents
that describe in detail draft legislation she will be introducing to
implement significant reforms to the state's wetland protection
program. It has been her intent to accomplish two objectives with
this effort:

1. Retain the wetland protection program at the state level.

2. Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the state
program to reduce burden to the administering agency, property owners,
regulated community, and while at the same time providing the state
with a robust program to conserve and improve our wetlands resources.
