If you are planning to fast that day, Maghrib is around 5:30pm and there will be provision for Iftaar.

The Michigan Muslim Community Council (MMCC) is holding the 28th Annual Unity Banquet at Burton Manor on 11/2/2014. Last year, Michigan's Governor, Rick Snyder was one of the speakers. This year, ISPU Research Director Dalia Mogahed and US Congressman Andre Carson will be speaking, along with a great kids program.

Sponsors will be exposed to over 500 community leaders from across southeast Michigan, and also to our social media network that reaches over 10,000 individuals. I would like to request that you  purchase an ad in the program booklet, sponsor a table and/or attend the event. This will greatly support eh work that MMCC is doing to benefit the community. 

MMCC has had a fantastic year with co-hosting ISNA in Detroit, working with local non profits and communities to provide critical services, promoting interfaith work and advancing civic engagement of New Americans. At this event we will be honoring the Community Service, Media and Interfaith heroes that work to better our community. We hope to hear from you soon.
