My Recommendations for Tomorrow - Please Vote

Please do not forget to go out and VOTE tomorrow. 

I really liked what US Muslim Congressman Andre Carson said yesterday at the MMCC Annual Unity Dinner which some of you may have attended. If 100,000 Muslims in Michigan give $100 each that is about $10 Millions. With that kind of money we can get our own Governor or Congressperson or Senator. We have to stop letting some of these Politicians treat us like a Mistress. They come to us to take our Money and when it is time to get our issues addressed they ignore us. So go out and vote if you want to be taken seriously. Your children will benefit more in future if we have strong Muslim voice in this country.

You can look up your own ballot by logging in at http://vote.michigan.gov/mvic/ and checking out the sample ballot for your precinct.

I have attached the sample ballot for Precinct 7 in Farmington Hills that I am part of just as an example. Some of the names will not be on your ballot if you are in a different precinct or city.

My Recommendation is based on my own experience with some of these candidates and do not represent any other individual or entity. I have come to not vote blindly on one party line. We cannot afford to put all our eggs in one basket. These are some of the lessons learnt from the past. You may have noticed that most of us are heavily leaning towards one party but I have a mixed bag here where I an recommending candidates from both parties. if you don't agree with me, please ignore my advice. The last recommendation is very important for the Farmington School District. Please go out and vote. It is the least you can do to change our status as an Ummah.

There are three other proposals (2 State wide and 1 Local City of Farmington Hills) on the ballot that I do not have any recommendation for, same as the OCC BoT Members above. Please look up and do your own research. Jazak Allah Khair !
