I'm proud to announce that
Global Accessibility Day, Detroit returns for the fourth year on May 18 at 6:30pm at Bamboo Detroit in downtown
Detroit. We have an exciting event planned for this year, two local accessibility experts will discuss the importance of planning for accessibility in design and how to use an automated accessibility testing tool.
GAAD, Detroit event is one of dozens of events being held around the world on May 18 to raise awareness of digital accessibility. I hope you can join us!
This year's event is a joint partnership between Refresh Detroit and Ladies That UX Detroit, two groups I've been actively involved with for years. Nick DeNardis and I are the main organizers for GAAD Detroit.
I'm seeking your help to make an announcement or send an email message to your meetup groups, colleagues, students, or co-workers to encourage them to register for the event on May 18. Here's a template message you can use, or modify as needed.
