I had gotten into the friend zone 10 times too many. The light bulb went off in my head that "chicks dig assholes". I was determined to become the biggest asshole there is. And I succeeded. I was even told "you've become as ugly on the inside as you are on the outside". And there are people who still curse my name when they hear it..almost 20 years later.

See, the funny thing about me was I had 170 people that obviously thought it was a cute idea (since 170 ave me the pictures) but it was the 10 or so that really tore into me (the least, and humorous of all was that I was ruining TF :)) were the ones that really affected me.
Some were misguided (thinking I was making a profit off the cafe press shop (I wasn't) and when I explained that they were like "oh, well....uh.. you're still a shameless attention whore..."

But I found I did let it bother me.  Because I enjoyed being there so much (as a stay at home dad, I don't really have "real life" friends, you know ;) )to have a bunch of people (and people I knew....not just new TFers who signed up the day before) say such hurtful things to me all because I (apparently) spent WAY too much time on something.....
