Andrew,
Because you are an expert Laguna rower with the most miles in all conditions....What length oar have you used and what length would you recommend for the Laguna? What I see you using looks to be about 10' long?

We had 6.5s in the EC, and while they worked, they seemed too short.
Mike now has a pair of 9.5s (I think) and in my opinion, they are a
tad too long. During my correspondence with Michalak, he said 7
footers, but I'm not sure . . .
Conventional wisdom says "somewhat less than 2X the beam" (max beam?
Beam where the oars are? I dunno) I've also heard peopel say "all oard
ought to be about 8' long.
Start with 8 and see what you think.
