I've been reluctant to post - and certainly reluctant to ask for
assistance. It just ain't my way. Chuck is bringing some parts for me,
but, as you can imagine, this is a fairly monumental undertaking.

I have the screws, and I went out and bought 7 tubes of PL. I have (2)
Black and Decker Firestorm 18V drill motors and (4) fully charged
batteries. I have a saw and a hammer and pretty much any tool I want/
need.

Know what's REALLY scary? It looks almost too easy. I'm almost too
well prepared. I'm not a prep man, so this is freaking me out a
little.

If you'd like to help, I suspect I'll forget some blocks and line -
the little stuff. Other than that, the boat'll be assembled the first
day we are there. After that, it's just mucking around. But please,
feel free to bring extra blocks, cleats, line, eyebolts, etc. All the
crap that makes a boat really go.

By the way: I am having a hard time finding fenders right now. I have
(3) and would like (2) more. Any help would be appreciated.

Stephanie picked up a truck-bed full of fenders after Ike devasted the marinas of Galveston Bay. What size do you need, and she'll throw a couple in the back of the truck - she has some with eyes at each end, and some some that the rope runs thru the middle of.

See you this weekend!

I am bringing Sean Moffitt! I'll throw in some drills and batteries and a
charger or two. I have a condo for Sun and Mon so can charge batteries.
I'll be there on Saturday evening with the parts and Sean. Don't worry, it
will be fine. Just breathe in and out slowly....

I wanna string 'em on the port edge, like Mike does on L2
http://andrewlinn.com/100608_chuck/obx130_10.htm
I don't give a whoop about eyes or string - I'll be drilling holes to
fit what I need. You have no idea how much fun it is to build a one
trip boat!

Mine have eyes on each end. Eithe rway works, Thanks!

Sean the Wonder Boy is gonna have some fun. Too bad I couldn't sign
that 23-year-old girl on as crew from the TX200 forum, I was gonna
make that boy's whole summer.
