Dear Friends,

I am humbled to share with you that my two little queer Armenian protagonist books, the well-received One Man Guy and the less well-received Hold My Hand were both included on the Texas House Committee's list of books on race and sexuality to investigate!  You can read more about this ridiculousness and the other wonderful 850 books on this list, including Shani M. King's Have I Ever Told You Black Lives Matter, Ta-Nehisi Coates' Between The World and Me and just about everything Becky Albertalli ever wrote here.

Also, I am delighted  to welcome dear friend and collaborator Jim Christy as the featured writer in our next Novel Readings event: Tuesday, November 9th at 3PM ET! Email rs...@novelreadings.com for the link and join us to witness the power of new play development tools applied to literary prose!

James Christy Jr. (Writer/Director/Producer) is an award-winning playwright and filmmaker. Recent plays include THE FOREVER QUESTION, which won the B Street Comedy Festival in 2018; A GREAT WAR, which was nominated for a Barrymore Award for Best New Play in 2016; LOVE AND  COMMUNICATION, which won the Brown Martin Award in 2012 is currently being produced as a feature film. In a previous life, James was a dayplayer in DEAD POETS SOCIETY (yes, he stood on his desk).

Sending you all much love all winter approaches,
