CanI use duplicate glitch to duplicate magazines such as U.S. Covert Operation Manual or Astoundingly Awesome Tales to stack the skills or advantage? Like SPECIAL magazine, every duplicated item is new/unread. Can I dupe other types of magazine?

No, you cannot duplicate magazines to gain perks from them. Unlike the 'You're Special' book, as Deltharis mentioned in the comments, the magazines actually give you an instance of a perk, or unlock tattoos/hairstyles/settlement items.

There would be no reason to duplicate tattoos/hairstyles/settlement items magazines, as finding them unlocks the reward, and there's no use in unlocking them again. Some of the other magazines, such as the Wasteland Survivor's Guide and Amazingly Awesome Tales, each give a unique perk with only one rank (e.g. Wasteland Survival 1, Wasteland Survival 2, and so on).

The remaining magazines (Grognak the Barbarian, Massachusetts Surgical Journal, Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor, Tesla Science, Tumblers Today, U.S. Covert Operations Manual, Unstoppables) have multi-point perks, where each magazine gives one point into that perk. However, magazine duplication does not give multiple points into the respective perk. Each magazine needs to be found to max out the respective perk (Example of user describing no bonus effects from duplicating perk magazines and bobbleheads).

There is actually a case of the same magazine being obtainable in the game twice, without item duplication. Grognak the Barbarian issue #05 is obtainable in both Vault 75 and Vault 81. I obtained both #05 issues before finding all 10 issues of Grognak, but only received a point in the Barbarian perk for the first one I found. To get the Barbarian perk maxed at 10 points, I had to find all 10 issues of the magazine.

I did duplicate the magazines but there is no effect. I think both the book and magazines are programed differently. I wanted to stack the tesla for the 10% extra in core duration but to no avail. It doesn't happen the same as with the book. Dogmeat got a new one, but can be seen on his mout, so I guess it is possible to duplicate them but there is no effect other than having multiple copies.

The recent Wastelanders updates has added people, and a Fallout 76 dupe glitch that can double ammo, aid and other valuable items. It's likely to be patched at any point without warning so you'll need to be fast. This Fallout 76 dupe glitch explainer will cover all the details so get moving.

The tl;dr version is that you can build a display case, put one item from your stash in it, then quit out of the game, reload it and delete/store the display case. That will return the single item back to you stash, duplicating what you have stored in the process.

At your camp you need to build this display case, which is the second option down in the Displays tab. Because you need to reach it quickly, take a note of where you spawn and build it near that general area. In my experience I never had any trouble reaching the case and pulling off the glitch but you might as well make life easier.

The glitch dupes what's in your Stash, not your inventory, so whatever ammo, say, you want to replicate needs to be transferred into you camp Stash box. In this case I've run the glitch a few times and have 867 5mm rounds ready to duplicate.

Once you have the case built and the item you want to duplicate in your stash, quit out of the game and then start again once you're back at the main menu. Be ready though, you'll want to complete the next step quickly so don't go anywhere.

As soon as the game restarts go to the Display Case and hit the option to display something. When the menu pops up navigate to the thing you want to copy and hit the button to ASSIGN it to the case. That should place one item in the case (you can see a single bullet up there). As soon as that's done either destroy or stash the case. If you've done it right you should be able to go to your stash and find the amount has more or less doubled.

As you can see I started with 867 5mm rounds and ended up with 1731. It looks like the more of an item you have, the closer to doubling it the process will get. I used the same system to copy some stimpacks, going from five to seven, seven to 11 and 11 to 19 - the numbers duplicated increasing with the total amount.

^This. Sometimes when you leave megaton, you will see a caravan filled with items and caps. There are 4 or 5 in total(At least thats how many i've met/killed), so thats a lot of shit right there. That money went to my ammo fund, and now I dont need to buy anymore ammo for the rest of the game.

there is a dupe glitch and a caps glitch.. aswell as a glitch so your items never break...

but they only work on the 360 version of fallout 3

the caps glitch might work on pc version though

i made this random account to post this for you incase you needed it hehe but i might get on to check on somthin later... but like this is randomly created that im probably going to delete if possible

ok this is the caps glitch.....>>> STEP 1. get 2 of the same item (one in bad condition and one in good) or just have 2 of the same items in the venders inventory with dif conditions...

step 2. buy the crappy condition one and sell it again... keep doing this while the good condition one is in his inventory and eventually when you buy the crappy one its in perfect condition!

step 3. sell the fully repaired one that got glitched into your inventory and it will be crappy again but you still get the money! so buy the crappy one and it turns fully repaired again!

step 4. repeat step 3 over and over untill you get the desired amount of caps or the vender runs out of caps... (if the vender runs out of caps buy all his stuff and do the glitch again to get your caps back... making it to where you just got all the crap from him for free plus all your and his caps! so yes this is also a good repair glitch :)

I just found a way to duplicate caps on my 360 but as far as i can tell you need at least 30,000 caps to do it.

I went from 35,000 caps to 3,500,000 caps in no time using only the file cabinet in my megaton house. But i guess if you have 30,000 caps already there is really no need to do it. just for fun i guess.

i had 35,000 caps and deposited 5,000 in the filing cabinet. then took the 5,000 back out and deposited all 35,000. but it put 60,000 in the filing cabinet. So i kinda went crazy and kept doing it till i had millions

well thats it. The video quality really took a dive when i uploaded it. you can barely see how much i started with if at all. i'll try and take a better video tomorrow, i'm going to bed.

ok this one is way better quality, i hooked my 360 to my tv tuner card.

i think it only works with 35,000 caps or more.

i dunno, just play around with it. i wanna see if it will work on another system or if its something weird with my 360.

I found a glitch on the PS3 that involved me trading items with my companion (Charon) and I duplicated a Super Sledge just by giving it to him and playing the game for a while. I looked in his inv and had 2 Super Sledges equipped (yes he was wielding 2 super sledges at the same time although appeared as only holding one) one was at about 45% health and the other (the duplicate) was 100%. I'm not as sure as how I accomplished this but I found it quite amusing.

Fallout 76 players can finally place and use Vending Machines and Display Cases following the game's June 2 maintenance window. A small update has been pushed to resolve a dupe glitch that had plagued the title since May 15. The full details arrive courtesy of an official Bethesda forum post.

In the post, which was shared on Monday afternoon, Bethesda community management announced that the Fallout 76 servers would be taken offline around 10 a.m. EDT June 2. Following about 90 minutes of downtime, fans may be wondering what updates the offline period provided. According to the source, Wastelanders can now enjoy "a fix for the dupe issue that was affecting Vending Machines and Display Cases."

For fans who've been following Fallout 76 closely over the past three weeks, you've likely seen the "player vending disabled" message appear while using or trying to fill Display Cases or Vending Vending Machines around your CAMP. This shortcoming was due to the discovery of a dupe glitch in which players could essentially place their CAMP in a popular location and then hop to another server where that spot would likely be filled. Once that happened, a flaw in the Stash Box mechanic could be exploited to yield duplicate Vault Steel Scrap, Legendary Modules, ammo, healing items, Junk and more.

At the time, development representatives said they were working "actively to get a fix out so that we can re-enable Display Cases and Vending Machines as soon as possible," but many players didn't anticipate just how long the patch would take. While similar circumstances had been resolved over a single weekend in the past, this flaw took more than half a month to figure out. Luckily, however, the fix is here today. Fallout 76 may still have plenty of other bugs, but there aren't any vending issues to speak of right now.

Of course, more so than any other type of flaw, there is a whole community of players currently hunting for a new dupe glitch to use. Sometimes glitches aren't as front-facing as a Player Vending bug, but it generally doesn't take long for alternate methods to be found and subsequently spread.
