Hi,
A new version of MICA was released yesterday: version 0.32. MICA is a
Pin tool to collect microarchitecture-independent program
characteristics.
There are no major changes w.r.t. features, but the code has been
significantly cleaned up, and the speed of the tool should also be
slightly better due to some performance-related improvements (thanks
to Petr Tuma for both). Version 0.32 has also been tested with the
Intel compiler, which is only recently supported by Pin. If you are
using an older version of MICA, please consider upgrading to v0.32.
If you are currently using MICA for your work/research, I'd like to
learn more about it.
Improvements to MICA, either in terms of features, performance or code
quality, are highly welcome. MICA is also available on github, see
http://github.com/boegel/MICA. Suggestions for improvements are also
welcome.
