vocabulary for phylogenetic inference methods

Some of you may be interested in weighing in on a discussion about vocabulary for phylogenetic inference methods in OpenTree:

Short summary: we have an ad hoc list of inference methods and would like to improve what metadata we have about trees so that we can more easily search / filter / weight our set of input trees.
