To all participants, volunteers and spectators attending WORLD TAI CHI & QIGONG DAY at the Tamaki Recreation Centre, Elstree Ave, Glen Innes, Auckland, on Saturday, 26 April 2014,  we advise ROAD WORKS being carried out in ELSTREE AVE will affect vehicle access and parking.
It will be necessary for you to allow EXTRA TIME for travelling and for vehicle parking, so that you will still arrive on time for the start of the Event.

Elstree Ave Road Works
 
As you may know Auckland Transport have been undertaking work on the pathway along Elstree Ave for the last few weeks which has caused some disruption to the area.  Unfortunately this is set to get worse as they begin work on the road as well.

From 31st March through until 8th June you will find that Elstree Ave becomes aOne Way Street from West Tamaki Drive heading south (towards Taniwha Street).

Can you please let your group and or users of your service or anyone else who may becoming to the centre of these restrictions over the next couple of months.

Please Note:

Road works will be undertaken in stages along Elstree Ave.

Access to the centre and Elstree Ave will be from West Tamaki Road - please plan your journey accordingly.

There will be no road side parking at times.

There will be no car park access at times.

The centre will operate as normal.
