Java J2ME Blackberry Programmer—3 month assignment
3+ yrs as programmer developing applications with Java 2 ME for Blackberry platform using FDA/ISO compliant processes.
Description:
Firm seeks individual with advanced knowledge of software architecture, application design and development. Should be solid programmer who can deliver in accordance to a Project Plan and specs. Individual should be a disciplined worker who conducts code reviews and documents activities.
The company is an entrepreneurial IT consulting firm in Miami that designs, develops and validates custom software applications for medical device and healthcare clients. Position offers flexible, challenging casual work environment and opportunity to contribute immediately.
Desired Skills include:
5+ yrs in requirements analysis, design, coding and unit testing.
3+ yrs experience in Java ME (and SQL database development experience desired).
Extra value with experience in Medical device systems, FDA and regulated software environment.
Added benefit if familiar with Delphi/Borland
Added competences and characteristics desired:
Prefer individual from local South Florida area
Education with Computer Science degree or equivalent
Effective English communication skills written & oral
Positive, enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated
