Role Description:

Skills:

* 3+ years experience as a Weblogic Systems Administrator of BEA Weblogic WLS (version 8.1, SP2 and higher)

* Apache (1.3.3.1 and higher)

* Seasoned experience with Red Hat Linux Enterprise 3-4

* Understand issues about scalability, reliability, performance tuning and capacity planning

* Security and certificate management (SSL)

* Knowledge of J2EE technology, BEA platform

* Work with large scale application deployment involving multiple clusters

* Experience with solutions for load balancing, caching and accelerators

* Working knowledge of a SAN (storage area network) environment

* Working knowledge of Oracle database fundamentals

* Programming experience in client/server technologies and/or Web technologies

* Good oral and written communication skills

* Be able to participate in and follow project planning

* Able to plan tasks and follow-through to completion

* Experience in a matrix management environment where resource sharing and allocation is an accepted practice

* Demonstrated ability to work both as an individual contributor and in a team environment

* Analytical and problem solving skills

* Attention to detail

* Goal oriented

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Organizational skills

* Off-hours/weekend on call support will be required to accommodate production schedules
