Hey all! We are at capacity! We do not have any open kennels and we have a trap set for another dog and one for a pregnant potbelly pig. I don’t have a picture of the pig because she was too fast, so if you have room for a pregnant pig, please let me know* If you have any room, I can be reached via email, phone, or text. Work cell 863-228-6265. Personal cell 812-241-9572. We have no public adoptions and only utilize rescues. We also have no vetting, but can usually help with transport. I do have a limited number of heartworm tests, flea/tick, heartworm prevention, dewormer, and FELV tests upon request. *Please note, all my face to face dog testing is done on leash due to not having an area to test off leash*
Dreka (name she came with)-F-Tri Colored-American Bully-Appx 4 yrs.*Pregnant* Very sweet. Walks well on leash. Appears kennel trained if kept on schedule. Quiet and calm in kennel. Per previous owner is good with kids and housetrained. Per previous owner is not good with other female dogs (although lived in a house with a female Frenchie). *Tested OK with male dog (was stiff with hackles up, but no growling/lunging) tested OK with a smaller/submissive spayed female (less stiff with the female than male, but did have hackles up, but no growling/lunging). I don’t have any unfixed females to test with at this time* Did show a little food aggression with her neighbor dog. *Has been here almost a month* Came in 62.5 lbs and is now 69.5 *Deadline Friday 7/10 if no others pulled*
Shishimi-M-Lilac/W-Pitbull Mix-Appx 10 mo-1 yr. Very sweet/puppyish. Walks OK on leash (pulls some). Knows “sit”. *Stiff with another stiff male, but did try to play with a playful male. Doesn’t really seem to know how to play. Tested well with a female, but got pretty excited* but did show some food aggression with his neighbor when food present. Appears kennel trained if kept on schedule. Per other officer was dumped in a crate by a white van in front of someone’s house. *Head of a frenchie, body of a pit* 55 lbs *Deadline Friday 7/10 if no others pulled*
Mustard-*Neutered Male*-Lilac Merle-XL Bully-Appx 1 yr. *GOOFBALL ALERT*. Very sweet/puppyish. Walk ok on leash (Pulls some but is getting better). Most likely sibling to “Bunny” and “Hopper” that went to rescue already. *Loves toys and knows “drop it”* Appears kennel trained if kept on schedule. *Tested OK with males, but is pushy and dominant. Plays rough, so will need another rough and tumble playmate. Tested well with females* Has been possessive of food and toys through kennel with neighboring male dog, but now that he has a female neighbor, have not seen that behavior again. *Fully vetted and HW+. Finished doxy* 93.5 lbs *On the euth list has been here over almost 2 months* $200 pledge *HAS RESCUE PLACEMENT WITH DARBSTER, BUT NEEDS A FOSTER FOR 3 MONTHS WHILE HE UNDERGOES HEARTWORM TREATMENT WHICH IS PAID FOR. I can provide food and monthly meds*
Parsley-M-Brindle/W-Cur Mix-Appx 1 yr. Very sweet. Walks well on leash. Appears kennel trained. Quiet and calm in kennel. *Tested well with playful male dog, but was stiff/growled with a stiff male. Does like to hump. Loves playing with females!*. HW+, but started on doxy. *Has been here over a month* 51 lbs
Chino-M-Tan-XL Bully-Appx 3-4 yrs. Super sweet. Walks well on leash. Appears kennel trained. Per previous owner is good with other dogs and kids. *Tested well with male and female dogs* Was good with multiple other dogs at the house he came from while we were there. *Hair loss/skin infection is getting better each day with medicated baths*.*HW-* 73.5 lbs
Mo Jr-F-Brindle-Cur Mix-Appx 6.5 mo. Typical sweet puppy, but scared of leash. Comes from house with multiple other dogs. Per prev owner is good with kids. Hair loss is almost gone. 26.5 lbs
Guajillo-M-White/Black-Samoyed/Husky Mix-Appx 2-3 yrs. Very sweet. Walks well ok leash (typical husky jumping around). Starting to get the hang of kennel training.*Smaller than he looks* *Growled and was stiff with a male dog and tried to mount. The other dog was stiff too, so that may have been the issue*. 43.5 lbs
Bronze (name he came with)-M-Tri colored-Terrier Mix-Appx 1 yr 4 mo. Very sweet. Still getting used to leash. *100% kennel trained*, but per previous owner is not housetrained. Per previous owner is good with kids, but was surrendered for “nipping” at a child who startled him (no actual bite). Per previous owner is not good with big dogs. Has not been good with his big dog neighbors. I don’t have any small dogs to move him next to or test him with. 23 lbs
Jalapeno-M-Tan-Cur Mix-Appx 1-2 yrs. Very sweet. Puppyish. Walks well on leash. Does not appear kennel trained. Per previous owner is not good with other dogs. Did show dominant behavior (marking and hackles raised) through the kennel with his male neighbor, but no fighting. Has small growth on lip. *Underweight* 35.5 lbs
Poblano-M-Brindle-Pitbull-Appx 1 yr. Shy, but sweet. Walks well on leash. Seems good with other dogs through the kennel. Unknown on kennel training. *Large tear out of ear that causes it to often flop backwards* 51 lbs
Kelly (female Paint on left), Rein (female bay QH in middle), and Spike (bay QH gelding on right). Unknown ages, but Spike is the oldest. They all are broke to ride, lead, and pick up their feet. All are very sweet and are reportedly bonded (per the current owner, they freak if one is taken away). All will need coggins, farrier, and teeth floated. They are all in varying degrees of being underweight. We can probably do the transport. I have been working on getting this owner to surrender them pretty much since I’ve been working here, so I’d really like to get them somewhere before she changes her mind!!
Serrano-M-Black/W-Pitbull-Appx 1 yr. Super sweet! Has made a complete turn around! *Velcro dog!* Wants to be as close to you as possible.. Starting to get used to the leash. Appears kennel trained if kept on schedule. Seems good with other dogs through the kennel. Seems bonded to “Bell Pepper” who is most likely his sibling. 38 lbs *Still on stray hold until Sun 7/12*
