KING SIMBA NEEDS A RESCUE NOW!

Broward County Animal Care

King Simba was surrendered by his family last week. He’s about 10 years old, 37 lbs, and completely heartbroken.

This sweet senior doesn’t understand why he’s suddenly in a loud, scary shelter. He won’t even look up for treats… He’s shut down, confused, and clearly missing the only life he ever knew.

His former family said he’s good with kids and familiar dogs. Staff say he’s very shy and will need someone patient to give him time and TLC.

Chows are loyal and loving companions, but shelter life is no place for a dog like Simba—especially at his age.

Please, let’s not let this be the end of his story.
