Subject: Seminole Tribe Dogs/Cats. *Smalls/Long Termers*Hey all! We are quickly filling back up again. We unfortunately had some rescues fall through due to outbreaks at the rescue. I have 3 traps set for multiple dogs as well and have already caught 3. Some went home already, but some are frequent flyers that if they get picked up again, will not be returned. A gracious donor has offered to increase the pledges for some of the euth list dogs to $200 each. If you have any room, I can be reached via email, phone, or text. Work cell 863-228-6265. Personal cell 812-241-9572. We have no public adoptions and only utilize rescues. We also have no vetting, but can usually help with transport. I do have a limited number of heartworm tests, flea/tick, heartworm prevention, dewormer, vaccines, and FELV tests upon request. *Please note, all my face to face dog testing is done on leash due to not having an area to test off leash*
Sumter-M-B/W- XL Bully-Appx 1.5-2 yrs. *Not showing URI symptoms* Very sweet and starting to show his playful side. Walks well on leash. Kennel trained. Heavily scarred throughout face and body. HW+. *Very stiff/hard stares at other dogs at first, but tested well with an “indifferent” male and playful female. 70.5 lbs* *On euth list. Needs rescue commitment by next week* Has been here over 2 month **$200 Pledge*
Yeti-F-Blue/W-Pit-Appx 2 yrs. *Not showing URI symptoms* Very sweet. Walks well on leash. Per previous owner is good with kids and other dogs, but has “stranger danger” especially with men and has bitten a few people that entered the home without proper introduction. None were serious bites or ever reported to me. Has shown kennel reactivity with strangers. Unknown on cats. Previously lived with two small dogs. Per previous owner is kennel and housetrained. Recently had a litter and previous owner stated the hair loss started with the pregnancy. 54 lbs *On the euth list. Needs rescue commitment by next week**$200 Pledge*
Milo-M-Red Merle/W-Bulldog/Pit/Catahoula-Appx 5 yrs old. Stiff/whale eyes with people, but sweet. Freezes with stiff/high tail. Walks OK on leash (pulls some). Appears kennel trained if kept on schedule. Per previous owner is good with kids and other dogs, but has been stiff through the kennel with other dogs. Coughing. Most likely heartworm positive. 49.5 lbs *On the euth list. Needs rescue commitment by next week*
Bubba-M-Brown/W-Shiba/Basenji/Corgie??-Appx 1 yr 8 mo. A little skittish. Walks ok on leash. Frequent flyer who has always had to be trapped. Per previous owner is good with kids, other dogs, and is not housetrained. *Microchipped and current on all vaccines until 12/11/25. Tested negative for HW on 12/11/24. Did have ear infection at that time that they never went back for a follow up for, so may still have* 24.5 lbs
Garbanza-F-Tan-Cur-Appx 10 mo-1 yr. A little shy/submissive, but sweet. Does not walk on leash at this time. Came in with puppy above. Has scars consistent with being used as a hog dog. Slightly underweight. 33 lbs *Still on stray hold until Sun 8/31*
Chickpea-F-Tri colored-Hound Mix-Appx 3-4 yrs. Very sweet. Walks well on leash. Unknown on kennel training at this time. Multiple broken/worn down teeth. Slightly underweight with patchy hair loss throughout. 43 lbs *Still on stray hold until Mon 9/1*
Fava Bean-M-Orange Tabby-DSH-Appx 6-8 yrs?? A little shy right now. Will allow pets. Right eye looks a little wonky.
Kit Herringbone-M-Black-Bombay Mix?-Appx 1 yr. Super sweet. Loves to be pet and is a bit of a talker. *Currently on bite quarantine until 8/31 for scratching a kid that picked him up. Has not minded me picking him up* *I am willing to foster or TNR to my house, but would need an appointment somewhere. Working on my husband to let me adopt 😊*
