We got a few more dogs out to rescue and were doing OK on space, but a lot of these dogs have been here over a month with no interest. We are getting a new roof on the facility and I fear some will not do well with the noise/commotion, so tentative deadline is Thur May 1st. If there’s someone you have your eye on, but just can’t take at this time, please let me know. If there is a plan in place, that’s something I can work with. *I can provide videos of all dog testings and thanks to a donation of supplies, can provide vaccines, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention while supplies last* If you have room for anyone, I can be reached via email, phone, or text. Work cell 863-228-6265. Personal cell 812-241-9572. We have no public adoptions and only utilize rescues. We also have no vetting, but can usually help with transport. I do have a limited number of heartworm and FELV tests upon request. *Please note, all my face to face dog testing is done on leash due to not really having an area to test off leash*
Brendi-F-Brindle/White-Cur-Appx 2-3 yrs. Very sweet, but shy at first with new people. Startles easily with quick movements/loud sounds. *Tested OK with male and female dogs. Avoidant*. Walks well on leash. Appears kennel trained if kept on schedule. 54 lbs *On the euth list. Has been here over a month* *$150 pledge*
Hoosier-*Neutered Male*-Black/W-Pit/Bulldog/Lab?-Appx 4-5 yrs old. Very sweet, but mouthy. Knows “Sit”. Walks well on leash. Appears kennel trained if kept on schedule. Fearful of some strangers (possibly men only, there’s no other ladies here) and people in hats. *Tested OK with male and female dogs. Avoidant* 61 lbs * *On the euth list. Has been here over a month**$150 pledge*
Clover-F-Brown Merle/W-Pit/Catahoula Mix-Appx 1-2 yrs. Super sweet. Walks well on leash. Appears kennel trained if kept on schedule. *Tested OK with other dogs. Stiff with females. Playful with males*. 48 lbs *On the euth list has been here over a month* *150 pledge*
Buddy (name he came with)-M-Black/W-Pit-Appx 12 yrs. Very sweet. Walks well on leash. Per previous owner is good with kids, other dogs, and housetrained. Has trouble walking (most likely arthritis) and has small growth on eye. Appears kennel trained. *Tested well with male and female dogs* Father to Doobie. 67.5 lbs *On the euth list* *$200 Pledge*
Doobie (name she came with)-F-Black/W-Pit-Appx 1.5 yrs. Super sweet. Very submissive. Wants to be sitting on your lap/hugging you. Walks well on leash. Per previous owner is good with other dogs, kids, and is housetrained. Starting to get the hang of kennel training. *Tested Ok with other dogs. Did not like a hyper dog in her face. Freezes/avoids* Daughter to Buddy. 60 lbs
Squishy-M-Tan/W-Pitbull/American Bulldog-Appx 10 mo-1 yr. Very sweet. Walks OK on leash (pulls some). Appears kennel trained if kept on schedule. *Tested OK with male and female dogs. Stiff, but curious. Seems to want to play, but unsure*. 55 lbs
Tia-F-Black Brindle/White-Pit/Cur-8 mo. A little shy, but sweet. Does not walk well on leash at this time and does not appear kennel trained. Has lived entire life in a pen with her sister Tamara. They were never given names or attention and are still very sweet. Per previous owner is good with kids and other dogs. Seems good with other dogs through the kennel. 45.5 lbs
Tamara-F-Brown Brindle/W-Pit/Cur-8 mo. More outgoing than her sister. Very sweet, but likes to jump. Still getting used to leash and does not appear kennel trained. Has lived entire life in a pen with her sister Tia. They were never given names or attention and are still very sweet. Per previous owner is good with kids and other dogs. Seems good with other dogs through the kennel. 34.5 lbs
Efv (pronounced Eeffuh)-M-Tri colored-Min Pin/Rat Terrier??-Appx 3-4 yrs. Sweet, but hyper (jumps). Walks OK on leash. Does not appear kennel trained at this time. Unknown on other dogs at this time. *Does have an owner that was supposed to come yesterday. Stray hold is up, but will give until tomorrow (4/25) at 12 pm to claim*
