I just saw his newest commercial yesterday. I cannot believe he is still
doing that stale, lame shuffle that he believes is some sort of dance
move.

Honestly, I try to find the best in people, but this is getting silly.
Doesn't Dr. Golden have a friend or associate that could pull him aside
and tactfully inform him that he is making a complete ass of himself?
Wow! I am embarrassed just watching him.

The funniest thing is he probably gets a lot of stank while making the
rounds in the dance-club circuit. He probably thinks the women are
diggin' his dance steps and is totally clueless to the fact that these
same women are humoring him just to get at his straight-up cash
mon-zack.

I'm very fortunate. I'm ugly and I haven't much money. Oh...and I can't
dance, either.

:-)

FYI, Richard Golden is not "Doctor" anything. His father, Dr. Donald Golden,
founded DOC. Son Richard, who has been a salesman since he was
quite young, took over running the company when Dr. Donald retired
some years ago. The Doctor didn't dance. Richard has been married
for many years and I doubt he does the dance clubs.
They're just TV commercials, after all. He's just an actor in them and
the silly dance gag apparently sells glasses. Change the channel.
Watch Public TV.

I think you misunderstood the tone of my post. I actually like the guy, but the
dance step is killing me. I was taking a humorous (at least I was attempting to
be humorous), harmless jab at his ribs. The man is a parody of himself. Again,
it's only the dance move that I find repulsive--not him.

Please, lighten up y'all.

He probably got the idea from that guy I think his name is Gordy from
the ABC Warehouse commercials, remember his silly dancing
commercial, he even did it on top of a bus.

Weird. Is it just Michigan that has goofball commercials? P.S.
has anyone seen the "Cowboy" in Lansing selling cars? You can't miss
that crazy Terry Hanks selling cars for Sundance Chevrolet in you live
here, he does saturation advertising on TV and radio.

Actually, it was the other way around. Gordy was poking fun of businessmen
who dance in commercials.

It was lost on me, it just looked silly which I guess is what he
was trying to show.
