Mobile Monday Detroit Kick-Off Event: RSVP is required

Last reminder about the kick-off Mobile Monday Detroit event next Monday @ 6:30pm, Compuware Building:

There will be a lot covered in this first meeting, but for developers/entrepreneurs, you may be interested in this Ford program in particular, where they plan to open up a Ford SYNC API to mobile developers:

It is still early stage, from what I hear, but if this comes to fruition, this would open up some very interesting development opportunities.  Possibly making automotive the next mobile frontier with a whole new set of opportunities, and challenges.  Could this lead to an iTunes style app store for vehicles?  I'd like to find out!
