Our next GRC meeting is tomorrow, June 21.  5-7pm  Back to the wine and cheese format, feel free to bring something to share!  Hope to see you there to think and strategize for Fall events and goals.

New Location: MI Chamber of Commerce, 7605 SE 27^th #109 (in the towncenter next to Roberto’s)

 

We will be discussing summer meeting schedule, but we already know that the July 5 meeting will be cancelled.

attached is a photo taken on June 18, 2011.  We received an invitation to visit the Bloedel Gardens on Bainbridge Island from a friend who takes Sumi painting with me at the Community Center. After much investigation, the easiest and least expensive journey  was to ride the bus, walk a few blocks, then board the ferry.  the return trip was equally convenient for our trip, with very little waiting anywhere.  A beautiful, relaxing day was spent with Hiroko, the Sumi teacher, Dave, my husband, and me, Susan Morrisson.  The little boy had just ridden the bus, too."
