The World Bank Group is launching a recruitment drive aimed at increasing the number of Sub Saharan Africans in its work force.  This recruitment plan reflects the Bank Group’s senior leadership commitment for a diverse workforce in which African nationals can play a key role in fighting poverty an increasing shared prosperity.  Senior leadership has committed 80+ vacancies to be filled by African nationals.   I am writing to:  (a) encourage those of you who are interested to apply to these positions; and (2) solicit your help in sharing this information within your networks to help us source qualified Africans.  This drive is being managed from my office and we really need your help in sourcing good candidates who can be hired.
