I have had several inquiries regarding getting into the Google site and creating your profile. Listed below are detailed instructions starting from the beginning of the process. We are choosing to use the web as our directory as opposed to mailing you out questionnaires of which the response rate is very low. We currently have 9 profiles out of 62 possibilities.

We need you to attempt to fill these out as soon as possible and no later than March 15. We had a good meeting last night on the reunion and things are beginning to shape up. I look forward to seeing as many of you as can possibly make it. The other classes are doing some paper directories but we felt the internet would be much easier to keep up to date and really user friendly once you get used to it. I will be emailing more details about the reunion tomorrow. Please try to adjust your schedule so you can attend.

1) Before going to step 2, print this page if you have access to a printer so you can read the instructions as you proceed. Otherwise you go to the link and then not see what you need to do next.

2)Go to browser and type in the following or just click on this link if your email will allow it: http://groups.google.com/

3In the upper right hand corner is a sign-in tab so click on it.

4)Mid way down the page on the right you will see the create an account now tab, please click on this.

Insert the email address you gave me for the class database and then choose a password. There is also a place for nickname so we ask you use your name from school such as: Barbara Baxter Taylor. You will be asked to verify some letters or numbers you see on the screen so type them in and then hit the “accept the terms” button.

6)I can’t remember now but I think you will be then in the site or directed to sign in with your email address and your new password.

7)Click on the MHS Class of 69 button and you will be in our site.

8)Click on the Members button and you will then search for your email address. Click on your address and then go in and enter your profile. It can be updated as often as you like. Give us some basics about your family-wife, significant other, children, grand-children, etc and what you have been up to since we graduated from high school. Include some of your interests or whatever you feel like sharing. It is your profile and your site. You don't have to worry about what you write as only your class mates can see what you enter.
