If you are driving yourself up be sure to register with MHLS so we know who
to expect at our appointments - register online just like you would for one
of our workshops at http://www.midhudson.org/evanced/lib/eventcalendar.asp
While filling the office of each legislator with library supporters is
important we especially want to see representation at the following
meetings - if your library falls into these districts please make an extra
effort to have supporters from your library attend:
Senator Saland (Chair of the Education Committee)
Senator Leibell
*Assemblyman Marc Molinaro (new assemblyman; recently appointed to the
Committee on Libraries and Education Technology)
*Assemblyman Peter Lopez (new assemblyman)
*Assemblyman Greg Ball (new assemblyman)
*Assemblyman Tim Gordon (new assemblyman)

invite these guys into your libraries, they are new and need an introduction
to the type of service you provide to their constituents and any issues you
are facing)
