Looking for Information on Telemedicine Projects in Malawi

I am looking for information on any Telemedicine Projects currently being implemented or has been implemented in the last few years in Malawi. Or if you know someone who can provide such information. Your support is very much appreciated.

Hi Maga,

my understanding is some years ago in KCH, they had some telemedicine project initiated between Malawi and India.

Also with South Africa.

You may check with the clinical service department within MoH and they shall have some information.

Please find the attached file that contains all of the projects in Malawi dealing with mHealth in 2014. There is a 'Telemedicine project' listed there.

This list was put together by GSMA updated in 2014 so i'm sure there are plenty of more implemented in the recent years. Hi,

Chipatala Cha Pa Foni does not really qualify into Tele Medicine category I think because it is more to do with health information sharing and not diagnose and treat type of thing. Tele Medicine is more to do with treatment, prescriptions, consultations and even surgical operations in some instances- two medical teams on different ends  which CCPF does not do.
