View this email in your browser Calling for innovative health solutions in Malawi, the Philippines and Central America & the Caribbean In 2017, the Social Innovation in Health Initiative launched three new social innovation hubs in partnership with the University of Malawi, the University of the Philippines and CIDEIM-Icesi University.   The role of these hubs is to catalyse and advance social innovation and research in low- and middle-income countries.   To kick off, each hub is running an innovation call to identify local solutions implemented at country-level. They want to recognise and study solutions developed by ordinary individuals and organisations in response to a health need, with the aim of raising the awareness of policy makers to these solutions.
