We've got two great programs this weekend: Join us Friday night for Moishe House shabbat or Saturday night as we team up with Mishkan Chicago in observance of Tisha B'Av.

Moishe House Shabbat

Friday, July 24, 6:30 PM

Moishe House Rogers Park, email for address

Join us for davening and dinner on this Friday Night. Kabbalat Shabbat will be lead by Hannah Barg starting around 6:30 and and a vegetarian potluck featuring stuffed peppers and zucchini will be served 7:45. We'll provide the entree; please bring a side or drink for share. If you're on FB and haven't let us know you are coming you can do that here.

Shattered: Tisha B'Av
Saturday, July 25, 8:30pm-10:30pm
Moishe House Rogers Park,  email for address
Gather for a reading of Eicha [lamentations] to connect with places of pain and brokenness through the collective memory of the destruction of the Temple, followed by an Open Space conversation about brokenness in our lives, our city, and our world, hosted by YOU (only if you have an idea that people want to talk about- we'll explain there). We will be burning what we're clinging to in the bonfire Saturday night and moving into a day of fasting.
