Allocation Process - Clarification Required

Dear All,
One of my relative recently won the flat in 2010 lottery. I would like
to seek your experience on how the allocation process goes from here
and any tips/precaution on the possession.
It will be great if one could write step by step process. This would
be excellent reference tool for all prospective applicants.
One specific query is, do they allow us to select specific flat within
the scheme. This would mean completing the paper work as fast as
possible to be able to choose the best flat/view Or the allocation of
the flat is pre-decided.

The flat numbers are decided by the mhada officials. So, there is no chance of you going and selecting the one you like.
As per the allocation process is concerned, try to submit the necessary documents mentioned in the book (one you got with the form) at the earliest. This only takes the maximum possible time. Going to the court and other matters.
