Andrea,

Here is our class schedule for the rest of the semester:

3/6
  • no class - meet with community partner
  • present preliminary findings to community partner by 3/8 (We will tell Nicole we plan to present to you on 3/18)
  • weekly update to community partner
3/13
  • Spring Break
3/20
  • weekly update to community partner
3/27
  • no class (we could come in to meet with you on this day if you need us to)
  • weekly update to community partner
4/3
  • weekly update to community partner
4/10
  • final presentations in class
4/17
  • no class - meet with community partner
  • weekly update to community partner
4/24
  • in class poster session
I'm pretty sure this schedule means we should do our final presentation to you on the 17th. I know that cuts off another week, but that's how the schedule looks here. Let me know your thoughts when you're back.

I have sent notes from our call and asked everyone to send me their availability for Monday March 18th to give our midterm presentation to you. I will get that to you tomorrow at the latest.

So sorry for all this confusion!

Enjoy your trip!
Lisa

Hi Lisa,

Since we are under a pretty tight deadline to wrap things up, I suggest the following modification to the schedule:

3/27 – Research at St. Louis local level of customers (re-do the first assignment, but concentrate on the St. Louis area) (deliverable – report)

4/3 – Research at St. Louis local level of potential competitors (re-do the second assignment, but concentrate on the St. Louis area) (deliverable – report)

The remaining deliverables that were previously outlined can be eliminated; however, I would like to have a written report summarizing all of your findings  upon completion of the semester/project.

I talked with Clay & Corey, and you have done a lot of research at the national level, but we would like more information at the local level as the product will most likely be beta tested in St. Louis.

I’ll give you more specific feedback on the potential competitor research early next week.

Thanks!

Andrea

Yes, please.

There will most-likely be a small group in attendance, me, our CEO, and possibly some board members. I suggest you follow a more formal presentation schedule. Introduce yourselves, introduce the CB product, go into your thoughts and rationale behind the customer information you gathered, thoughts and rationale behind the competitor information you gathered, and thoughts and rationale behind any calculations. It would probably help to do a powerpoint, if you have time.

I think talking through this information in detail will help provide guidance, and help key stakeholders understand the work done thus far.

Thanks!

Andrea

Andrea,

Thanks for getting back to me. These deadlines work for us. Would you still like us to come in to present tomorrow at 4pm?

Thanks,
Lisa
