Assalaamualaykum!
The Islamic Community Fund at UCLA is planning to open an interim musalla in Westwood this year inshAllah! This project will establish a dedicated space for prayer near campus so that we can continue to fulfill our mission while we work on bringing the community a permanent space in Westwood. If you are interested in joining the Exploratory Committee, please write to con...@ucmasjid.com. We are looking for a diverse group of volunteers who represent the UCLA, Westwood, West Los Angeles and Beverly Hills residential, student and professional Muslim community to take part in making this space a reality!
If you have experience in marketing, fundraising, programming, event planning, and/or you share our enthusiasm and passion for establishing a permanent space for Muslims living and working near UCLA, then we need you! Your talents would be greatly appreciated on the Marketing, Programming, and/or Fundraising Sub-Committees. The Exploratory Committee will be meeting this month inshAllah, so please email us soon.
