Assalaamualaykum!
The Islamic Community Fund at UCLA is planning to open an interim musalla in Westwood this year inshAllah! This project will establish a dedicated space for prayer near campus so that we can continue to fulfill our mission while we work on bringing the community a permanent, self-sustaining space in Westwood.
We are writing to invite you to join the Exploratory Committee at its first meeting inshAllah.
What: ICF Musalla Exploratory Committee Meeting
When: Tuesday, April 10 from 7-9PM
Where: Moore Hall 3034 (for a map of UCLA, click here)
We are looking for a diverse group of volunteers with experience in marketing, fundraising, programming, event planning, and/or who share our enthusiasm and passion for establishing a permanent space for Muslims living and working near UCLA. Your talents would be greatly appreciated on the Marketing, Programming, and/or Fundraising Sub-Committees.
At the meeting we will inshAllah review the goals of the Islamic Community Fund for those unfamiliar with the project, introduce the interim musalla to the group, and discuss the many ways to be involved in the project. We need you help to make this dream a reality inshAllah. Please join us to learn how!
