
Ranger William Elder of the National Park Service is holding a free park program on the Geology of the Marin Headlands on Saturday, October 15th 2011 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Explore
200 million years of geologic history and learn the fascinating story
told by the rocks at the Golden Gate. Bring a lunch and wear comfortable
walking shoes and a coat. Trip includes a short but strenuous walk down
and up 200-foot bluff.
