Thanks for the great update! Any workaround to use it on an OS with older git?

I'm stuck with Centos 6.4 which has git 1.7.1 and thus I can't use gopkg.in (hangs on go get)

The easiest is probably to just update git to something slightly more
recent. Even 1.7.9.5 should work fine.
