Hi everyone!

Our next case study is due this Tuesday, so we should figure out how
we're going to divide up the work. There are two main parts. Jeff
has already volunteered to work on the first part:

What is
Richardson’s main problem? (Jeff)
Be sure to identify the problem specifically. If there are additional
sub-problems identify them as well. If you identify more than one
problem, be sure to prioritize them.

Be careful that you are indeed identifying the main problem (hint this
case is tied to the communication, conflict, and teams chapters.)

What should
she do to solve the problem?
Be sure to analyze each potential solution and provide a rationale for
why you choose one over the other(s).

Think about the strategic and organizational implications for each of
the options?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to split up the rest of the
case?

-Doug

I will answer the part "What should she do to solve the problem. Be sure to analyze..."

Will there be a google doc for this?

How do you want to split up the rest Doug?

Okay, then I'll do the third part "Be sure to analyze each potential
solution and provide a rationale for why you chose one over the
other". I can make a google doc and we can post everything there once
we finish our parts. I'll send the link soon.

Oh oops, sorry! I misread Grace's email. I'll do the "Be careful
that you are identifying the main problem..." part instead.

I think that leaves the last part "Think about the strategic and
organizational implications for each of the options" for you Aileen.

Sounds good thanks guys! Just a note that I'll be having practice late
tonight, so I might not be able to have my part in tonight, but if you
guys are finished with yours, I'd be more than happy to compile all the
parts and email the final to the professor. That way you all aren't
waiting for me! Let me know if this works, otherwise I'll get mine in as
soon as I get home tonight!
