Dear Sir/Madam,

MathWorks India invites you to a free seminar:

MATLAB and Simulink for Engineering Education

14 Mar 2012
9.30 am – 2.00 pm
Le Méridien - Majestic Hall, Pune

Engineers and scientists worldwide rely on the MATLAB® and Simulink® product families to accelerate the pace of discovery, innovation, and development. Learning with industry-standard tools prepares students for careers in industry, where the tools are widely used for research and development. Students gain proficiency in solving real-world problems, analysis, and design while using these tools.

This seminar features a keynote address by a senior industry veteran from Whirlpool Corporation, a global manufacturer and marketer of major home appliances.

Mr. Sant Ranjan – General Manager, Advanced Refrigeration, Whirlpool Corporation, India, will deliver the keynote address, “Modeling and Simulation Tools and their Significance in Industry: Whirlpool – An Example.”

Following the keynote address, delegates can choose to attend one of the two concurrent sessions - the Control System Design session or the Signal Processing and Communications session. During these sessions, MathWorks Application Engineers will demonstrate how engineering curricula can be enhanced with the incorporation of MATLAB and Simulink. Examples shown will range from the usage of MATLAB to teach first-year basics of engineering mathematics, to the usage of Simulink for project work involving multi-domain system design and implementation.

This seminar has been designed to be an "instructors only" seminar. If you are a student, please do not register for this seminar. You are however welcome to forward the invitation to your instructors.
