GSD
is the key to comprehensive workplace support. Whether users are in the
office, working at home, or on the road the HP Global Service Desk
Service provides a responsive, single-point-of-contact (SPOC) to
effectively handle IT-related questions, incidents, issues, and service
requests. We use IT Infrastructure Library® (ITIL)-based processes to
help provide consistent, end-to-end Incident and Problem management,
including escalation management. Our centrally managed service includes
industry-leading processes and technologies that improve first-call
resolution, monitor user satisfaction levels and drive overall costs
down by automating repetitive activities, reducing service times and
resolving more incidents at the GSD.
Global Service Desk - Vision and Strategy:
The
vision embodies the commitment and ownership of a Global Community of
Subject Matter Experts to maintain a clear visibility of our delivery
strategy and end-to-end processes which enable the offering to be
delivered by the GSD through the use of proactive Problem /Incident
Management and other innovative tools in order to achieve continuous
service improvement.
Job Description:
- Troubleshooting
Hardware / Networking / OS related queries of our global customers Over
Phone which involves working in different time zones.
- Take calls from
Global customers and initiate the right response to them, positively and
professionally Deal with a wide range of products using a powerful
information database.
- Provide remote solutions to problems, probe
problems and explain the solution in such a way that nontechnical users
understand. Good Communication skills are mandatory.
