Hi Everyone!
I'm Precious Brittany Maclang, and I am a member of the e-board of Boys and Girls Club. Every year we host a giant carnival for all of the kids that participate in Boys and Girls Club here in Binghamton. It's a great opportunity to get off campus, spend some time with some amazing kids, and give back to the community. The carnival is on May 10th from 4-6 pm at the Main Unit which is located on 90 Clinton St. We are asking that volunteers arrive there at around 3 or shortly after to set-up.
Every year we try to get as many student groups on campus involved as possible and we'd like to extend the opportunity to your group to participate in our carnival. There will be time slots for performance groups, a field for athletic groups, and tabling available for everyone. The table can have something fun for the kids. We do not provide the supplies for your particular table, so we ask if you would like to participate you please provide your own supplies. Your table can range from carnival games to arts and crafts like bracelet making or simply applying temporary tattoos, just something creative and fun for everyone.
