Meeting Minutes and Important Dates

Hey MGFC, 

Some important announcements to remind you all about:

1. Please ask your respective chapters about MGFC Philanthropy date preference. Please note that it is a preference so it can be either dates (4/17 or4/24). I will go with majority preferences and its a requirement that all chapters meet the attendance requirement for either dates. Please speak to me as soon as possible if you have conflicts or is unable to meet this requirement by Wednesday, April 11th. We will be doing Soup Kitchen at Trinity Church on Main Street for DINNER TIME.

2. Elections will be on April 24th if we don't have Soup Kitchen, if we do then elections will be the following Wednesday during meeting time. LETTERS OF INTENT is due on April 17th via email. Please encourage your members to run for any position on e-board, they are all vacant for the upcoming year. Remember that each organization in the council MUST hold a position on e-board. 3. Greek Weekend is the weekend of April 18 to April 20th. More information about attendance and the weekend itself will be announced shortly. 

4. Check out the two internship programs that I will re-forward to you guys. 

5. Please submit your current and new initiated member roster by April 19th. Include the following information :

·         Name of the Greek Organization

·         Official Name of each Initiated New Members (Student)

·         Official Name of each ACTIVE member in the organization

·         Binghamton Issued B-Mail Address (jsm...@binghamton.edu)

·         Binghamton Issued B-Number

6. GREEK AWARDS!!! There are a few awards to be handed out WITHIN our COUNCIL individually and as a Chapter. Please look at the email, which I will forward again and fill it out !!!! I expect every single organization within MGFC to submit these paperwork, you're all great nominees, so DO IT.
 
Please consider all requirements for each award and note that all chapter awards will be based only on activites, events, and programming that occurred during calendar year 2012. Anything that has occurred this semester will be part of the 2014 awards process.
 
Award applications are due in the Office of Greek Life (UUW207) by 5pm on Wednesday, April 17.

7. SUPPORT our fellow council chapters at their events!! From the last meeting, this is what was announced for this month:

SOPi:
Unity National Party - 4/13 at Papillion. Presale tickets are still being sold.
Dance Marathon with MALIK and DEPsi - 4/20 from 1-5 PM at Mohawk Great Room
Food Drive with DEPsi- April 24th
SIA 
SIA Week is during April 14th-April 19th. Stay tuned !!!
