Dear Colleague,
Thank you for your interest in DicomWorks (http://www.dicomworks.com) . It is a FREE Dicom utility designed for radiologists that provides batch conversions of DICOM files, e-mail transfer and archiving facilities.
IMPORTANT : YOU REGISTERED DicomWorks for free, like almost 1000 users monthly. However, you need to know that only very few users, even registered, help us using the donations system (PayPal). This system makes DicomWorks free for everybody, but as only 4,5 USD were collected in 6 month (!) we can not afford our development costs (and time) anymore. That's why we think about becoming SHAREWARE. If you don't want that and want to support us, think about reading this page: http://www.dicomworks.com/fr/donation.htm , and make a small donation for us. Thank you.

1. Unlocking DicomWorks

Here is enclosed a licence key file (licence.lic) that you should open using the "nag" screen
at the beginning of the program. If you prefer, you can also simply put it in the "\extra\" directory. There is absolutely NO risk that it can contain a virus (it is a simple text file). Please keep a copy of it and do not copy it to somebody else : It is very important for us to know our customers. Do not modify the file.
YOU MUST NOT UNLOCK DICOMWORKS AND USE IT IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE FOLLOWING DISCLAIMER.

3. SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS NOTICE

DicomWorks includes several components belonging to their authors. Some are freeware, some are written by us. This includes the Dicom engine and any piece of code included in the DicomWorks application. You must be aware that it should not be included in other softwares, commercial or not without the explicit, hand-written, authorization of both authors. Using these components (OCX or DLLs) outside the DicomWorks application will soon or later result in severe damage, which Inviweb, Philippe PUECH and Lo�c BOUSSEL decline responsibility. Moreover, as DicomWorks and everything it includes is copyright protected, we will systematically engage justice procedures against any people ignoring this fact.

Several computers on the network can share the same licence. It is a "multi-user" licence.
5. Software localization

If your language is not supported by DicomWorks, please help us localizing the software. See "download" page for more informations.
6. Discussion forum
---------------------------------
We have recently opened a discussions forum at : http://dicom.online.fr/phpBB/
If you think your remarks could be solved by some of the others users, or that they can profit to others, do not hesitate to post them on these discussion forums.
