The MGCC is Heading to the Forest City Velodrome: March 16th.

In the grand Canadian tradition of Curt Harnett, Lori-Ann Muenzer, and Clara Hughes, MGCC East and West are going to the track!

 

There are a number of spots available at the Forest City Velodrome at noon on March 16th. The cost is $20 plus $10 bike rental, and the introductory course lasts about 2- 2.5 hours.

 

If you're interested, here's what you need to do: 

1. E-mail MGCC West member Raymond Ludwin raymon...@mac.com who is leading the charge and CC' the very helpful Rob Good at forestcit...@live.com and let them both know you want to reserve a spot for the day. It's first come, first served, and he'll respond and tell you if you're in.
2. Send a 2nd email to raymon...@mac.com  and let Raymond know a) if you have a car, b) where you live, c) if you're bringing your own track bike.
3. You need to arrive by 1130am to get the paperwork squared away, in order to start riding at noon meaning an 830am departure from the city. If you don't have a bike, you can rent one, but bring pedals and shoes. As well, bring snacks and water, as well as arm/leg warmers and a vest - it can be chilly in the ForestCity Velodrome.
