Team,

In the MG's continued quest to have our collective voice heard, your cycling club is tasking you with an important action item.

Using the sheer force of our community, the MG wants Toronto Politicians to recognize, listen to, and contemplate our opinions.

This note centers around bike safety, and specifically, the current Toronto By-Law that states that all cyclists must ride single file.  Most of us are aware of the various road side conversations (pre 6am) the MG has had with the Toronto Policy Services on this issue and as a club we aim to make ourselves heard.

Here is what you are asked to do:

Please visit www.mgridetoronto.com and click on the BLOG menu item.

The latest entry in the MG Blog is a very concise and well written letter (THANK YOU Sasha Gollish) outlining the club's concerns with the current cycling environment on this issue.  You are asked to use the links provided to locate the name of your City Councilor, fill in their contact information, and cut/paste this letter into an email or onto your letter head to be sent off to said Councilor.  If you email this letter, please also CC' morningglor...@gmail.com

If you prefer to use Canada Post to deliver your message pls send an email to the above address indicating so as the MG would like to track letters going out and responses coming back in.

Let's use our collective strength to initiate change on a By-Law that is outdated.

If you have any questions or comments please send them to morningglor...@gmail.com

Cheers,
MGCC
