API uploads failing

Dear Mrs., Mr.,
When I want to use the the API to upload files, I get this error: curl: (56) Recv failure: Connection reset by peer
cmd used:
curl -X POST -H "mykey: auth_key" -F "upload=@LJ_2017_033_R1.fastq" "http://api.mg-rast.org/inbox/

I also tried
I have also tried browser uploads in firefox, chrome (latest versions) for more than a month:
- using a .tar archive as mentioned in the format guidelines.
- using fastq files
But nothing works.
Could you please help me with this issue please ?

Hi Steve,

this is not the help desk. we do not have the resouces to monitor this group routinely. Please spend the time to find the help desk email..

BTW: we highly recommend using our upload script provided as part of the mg-rast-tools github repository.

Also: Neither our automated tests, nor my current manual tests show any issues. You need to fill out the questionnaire our help desk will send your way to enable us to help.
