linking microbial taxonomy to functional entities

Hello, 

I have been trying to obtain data that tells me about the functions assigned to a particular taxonomy. Basically linking taxonomy to function. 

For that, I use different filters in the analysis tab. So for taxonomy, I use ref seq and phylum, then I add another filter of KO and level 1 for the function.

This is how I tried many other combinations, but every time I am getting no hits.

So, I also decrease the cutoff, however, still no success.

Am I doing something wrong?

I experienced a similar issue when attempting to make connections between the RefSeq taxonomic and the Subsystems functional databases. I wanted to specifically view what genes or organisms may affect the multi-drug efflux pump function within the Subsystems database, but I received zero hits when filtering for each taxonomic or functional level. I also would be curious to know whether this is a user error on my part?
