Dear Sir,

Greetings from the Centre for Responsible Business (CRB).

Hope you are doing well.

I am writing to seek your cooperation to circulate this mail in your network. We are currently in the process of recruiting and empaneling competent Trainers and Consultants and people interested in becoming qualified Trainers and Consultant across India. The CRB intends to qualify and certify such interested individuals and prepare them to offer their expert services at affordable prices to large, medium, small and micro enterprises for improving social and environmental policies, processes, procedures, and practices.

As you may be aware, the CRB in its mission to improve and strengthen social and environmental performance in the value and supply chains and business responsibility in India, has recently joined hands as the "Knowledge and Implementation Partner" with the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) for the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India supported DISHA (Driving Industry towards Sustainable Human Capital Advancement) Project. The DISHA Project is a national programme, a first-of-its-kind, industry-owned and driven initiative, aimed to facilitate and prepare the Indian apparel industry especially, small and medium enterprises, towards becoming more socially and environmentally responsible.

The DISHA Project aims to build capacities of Indian apparel manufacturers to adopt management systems for addressing human and environmental challenges at their factories, and unify for mutual cooperation, global alignment, and resource optimization. Under this project, the CRB is supporting AEPC in drafting a sector specific voluntary Common Code of Conduct (CCC), with an aim to set benchmarks for the Indian apparel industry, and provide capacity building programmes to the apparel manufacturers and exporters in India. For the DISHA Project, we will train, qualify and prepare a large number of trainers and consultants.

I would highly appreciate if you could please circulate this mail widely to people in your network who may find this opportunity interesting, as we wish to solicit a good response. People interested in nominating themselves may find further details about the project and the process of sending their nomination at: http://www.devnetjobsindia.org/jobdescription.aspx?job_id=9772

I look forward to hearing from you and from the people interested in the opportunity.

Best regards,

Divya
