Choccy Cake connoisseurs have said they want more cake so we say... “Let them have Cake!”
Announcing a swag of new shows in Sydney, Victoria and Qld to feed the craving!
The new album FIASCO is still selling well and is in stock in the shops for x-mas so think about the gift that keeps on giving - a slice of cake for that much loved sister or boss!!!! The now famous dish rags will also be prominently on sale at all gigs as the new order has come in.
Victorians can get their hit in October at either of these shows at The Substation in Williamstown on Saturday 7 October and Castlemaine’s beautiful Theatre Royal on Saturday 22 October.
For Queenslanders in October there’s gigs at Live @ Joes, Eumundi on Friday 14 October and Brisbane Powerhouse on Saturday 15 October.
NSW is November will see Cake slice back into Sydney on Friday 11 November for a show at Lizottes Sydney, before they return to Lizottes Newcastle on Saturday 12 November for an encore performance following their sold out show back in June.
FIASCO is the album that has garnered rave reviews and continues to attract thousands of new Chocolate Cake Facebook fans. Live, you can count on a breathtaking show described as “Beautiful, creative, sorrowful, masterful music by a bunch of lovely people...... “.This is the band whose music clip ‘Request’ has been nominated for an Independent Film (IF) Award. This is the tour that is selling out theatres across the country, not to mention sales of their FIASCO tea towels which are now in their fourth pressing! Recent News
Cake have been booked at Queenscliff Music Festival on Sun 27 November where they are billed alongside an incredible line up of leading Australian and international musical talent... Stay tuned for more summer festival spots to be announced in the coming months. There are several booked in but we cant announce them yet.
David Bridie will also be performing solo at the Queenscliff Music Festival. David is currently holed away somewhere working on some new music for his 2012 solo album
Also, Taswegians take note, Cake are really pleased to be playing in January 2012 at the Cygnet Folk Festival.
Helens gypsy group Cosmo Cosmolino had a great launch gig at The Fairfax Studio on August 14 and the album is still on sale and getting great reviews...
